Description:

Hawthorn (Crataegus laevigata) is a small thorny tree originally from northwestern Europe. For thousands of years, folk medicine has prescribed hawthorn for a variety of ailments, using both the fruits, as well as the flowers and leaves. Hawthorn is rich in flavonoids and other compounds which are responsible for its benefits to heart health.

The components of hawthorn exert their heart-helping actions in a number of ways. Clinical trials with hawthorn have validated some of these beneficial effects on the heart in some adults.

AOR’s Hawthorn II is an extract of  Crataegus laevigata from Spain using  the leaf and flower parts in doses matching some clinical studies.

Ingredients:

Non-medicinal Ingredients*: colloidal anhydrous silica, sodium stearyl fumarate, microcrystaline cellulose, maltodextrin (corn). 

Capsule: hypromellose.
